Series: The Fusion Powered Clothes Dryer

I own a Fusion Powered Clothes Dryer and it is a wondrous thing.  It is extremely cost efficient, is low maintenance, and lasts for many, many years.  It is the kind of appliance that draws families together and creates a healthful, green environment for a community.

The dryer model that I have installed is probably the largest model.
It can handle up to six washloads of clothing at one time.  It can even handle blankets and sleeping bags - several of them.  It does require that some parts be replaced every 2 to 5 years, but parts are cheap, easy to find locally, are not proprietary to the make or model or company and some parts are re-usable in secondary applications.  It also requires more monitoring than your conventional gas or electric clothes dryer.

Installation is generally done by someone local. The install is quick and cost is minimal. Sometimes the installer is willing to accept just a good home-baked meal or a six-pack of their favorite beer for the work tendered.  Sometimes just a smile and a sincere thank you is more than enough to pay the cost of installation.  As I stated earlier, my dryer is one of the large models.  You may be able to install your own as a DIY project or purchase a portable model that is much smaller but still efficient.

Location and siting of your Fusion Dryer is extremely important, to gain the most savings in both time and money.  The dryer, if sited poorly will still work, but not to the best of its ability and we all know that efficiency is the name of the game.  The benefits of the higher efficient location are seen in both dollars and cents and in physical and emotional outlay.

This article is a series on the Fusion Powered Clothes Dryer. In subsequent articles about the appliance, I will address issues of proper siting, installation, parts and maintenance and how to use the Fusion Powered Clothes Dryer to get the best results.  I will also reference various places where you can purchase the parts for installation and maintenance, how to find an installer and where to find smaller, portable models and models for the DIYer.

Stay tuned. This is one appliance you should not live without.
